Petitenget Bali 2009

This is a new restaurant and retail space to replace the famous Kafe Warisan that the French clients had operated for 12 years. They wanted the design to re-interpret the Warisan courtyard and verandahs with views to the rice fields while increasing tables to seat 180 guests.  There is a bar for casual dining connected to a chill-out platform above the ricefields, a function room for 120, private dining cellar, retail shops and patisserie.

The mix of raw and fine materials can be seen in the Lombok stone walls, bamboo concrete formwork, handmade bronze tiles and the Javanese batik patterns of the bronze metal screens.
