Image 1.  Brockhoff Hut Mt Hotham. Architect Buchan & Buchan 1948. Built as a memorial hut to Joyce (Belle) Brockhoff, a founding member of the Australian Women's Ski Club who died in a cross-country skiing accident

Image 2. Cootapatamba Hut Mt Kosciusko.  Designer unknown. Access in deep snow is via the hatch on top of the tower.

Image 3. Diamantina Hut Mt Hotham. Probably designed by an engineer in the Forest Commission Victoria.

Image 4. Vallejo Gantner Hut McCallister Springs Victoria.  Architect David McGlashan. Memorial Hut built by the Myer / Gantner family for a young son and bushwalker who was killed in an accident.

Image 5. Koffler's Hutte Mt Buller Victoria. Architect David McGlashan. A saddle roof over a square plan built as a memorial to Helmut Koffler who was the first chalet proprietor and pioneer of skiing at Mt Buller. The building is buried by unsympathetic additions and trading as a spaghetti and strudel cafe.
